Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Denise has always been passionate about making beautiul things. Her Grandma was a tailoress and Denise learned from a very early age the delicacy of fine needlework and the rewards of being careful and patient with her work.  

In 1984 Denise won the distiguished Cordwainers College Gold medal. With accolades from such renowned companies as Tanner Krolle she has gone on to build an enviable portfolio of clients which includes some of the most prestigious designers and milliners in the country.

Deni-Deni is her own label and is aimed at those who demand quality but are seeking individuality rather than brands. Denise continues to handmake all her own work with the dream of breathing life back in to our English heritage of fine craftsmanship...
