Designing your product can be an exciting journey for many and a daunting experience for others. You do not have to be a professional designer for us to understand you. We like to listen and have held many hands.
Step 1
The Brief
A project brief can be understood from a drawing, inspired by an existing item or explained on the phone and evolved into a more concise picture. The more help you give us, the better, a goodie bag of where your inspiration comes from assists enormously.
Step 2
Q&A
With proper consultation, some forward and backward questions, answers, emails, photos, sketches, we will be able to formulate an idea of what you wish to achieve. We will talk time scale, money, and give the heads up on any technical stuff you need to know.
Step 3
Design & Present
Once we have collated all the information, we may need to research and source materials and components for the client's approval. If a drawing hasn’t been provided, we will present visuals and explain our ideas for construction.
Step 4
Prototype
It sometimes helps to make a card mock up or fabric toile to enable a client to envisage the scale and construction of the product.
Step 5
Craft
Patterns and making quite often develop together. One section of the item may need to be made first to ensure a perfect fit for the adjoining part. We remain in regular contact with the client with feedback on progress in the form of email, telephone calls, and images.
Step 6
Deliver
Once the piece is finally made we will deliver this via courier for next day delivery. For international deliveries appropriate arrangements will be made.
