Bespoke Commissions

Our bespoke service invites you to commission a unique item or re-create a beloved article you want to bring to life. The process is simple and starts with discussions with Denise. A picture is formed by listening and asking the right questions to help us create a proposal. You are left hands-free; we keep you updated with progress and feedback. Please call us even if you are unsure of the finer details of your idea. We are happy to talk, and if you would like to meet us personally, we can arrange a personal consultation at your convenience.

Case Studies

"I am simply thrilled with my beautiful bespoke tote from Deni-Deni. As a petite woman, achieving the correct proportion and balance for the design was especially important. Denise was meticulous in her preparation, offering guidance without being pushy and using the highest quality leather and suede. The finished bag is an utter pleasure to use. Every woman should carry one of Denise's creations."

Our Process

Brief

Bespoke projects are usually a client's desire to have a product made specifically for their need or to re-invent cherished items. We can work with or without sketches. We will hold their hand, and by asking questions, we can understand and translate ideas into a design. The more help provided, the better.

Development

Once we have collated all the information, we may need to research and source materials and components for the client's approval. We can help with visuals and technical manufacturing methods. It sometimes helps to make a card mock-up or fabric toile to enable a client to envisage the scale and structure of the product.

Craft

We remain in regular contact with the client with feedback on progress through email, telephone calls, and WhatsApp. Patterns and making quite often develop together. One section of the item may need to be finished first to ensure a perfect fit for the adjoining part. Upon completion of manufacturing, the client can collect, or we will arrange delivery.
