SEG Level 1 Fashion & Textiles Award

This Foundation Course brings together introductory and essential basic skills, leading to the SEG Level 1 Certificate.
Throughout the programme, you will create the items outlined in the Course Programme.
Learners will learn industry standard skills to begin their leather craft and footwear journey.
Each project has been carefully chosen to help you develop, practise, and embed the core techniques required for progressing into more
advanced areas of leathercraft and footwear.
You will also produce various products to evidence the practical applications of the skills you’ll acquire.
As the starting point for complete beginners, this intensive Foundation Course is the gateway to all higher-level pathways at the Academy.
Learners who can demonstrate proficiency in the Foundation Course skillset may apply directly to subsequent courses that match their
current ability and professional development goals.

This programme runs over 25 days.
The full course fee is £3,500, which includes all materials, fittings, and leather at no additional cost.
Once you are offered a place, a £250 deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid before the start of training.
Deni-Deni Academy can support applications for bursaries of up to £1,500 for learners under 25,
and bursaries of up to £300 for learners aged 25 and over.
